Let’s talk about conscious awareness. Some may refer to this as mindfulness; however, I like to step beyond being present and aware. When we take mindfulness just a tad further, we can find our inner genius and not just our thoughts or physically what is happening in the present.
Conscious awareness is making choices and decisions from a conscious state using intuition. It is living in alignment with your true nature, and you are in divine connection with the universe.
Conscious awareness is asking the tough questions like;
How am I feeling at this moment?
Why am I feeling this way?
Where in my body do I feel it?
When did the feeling start?
Why does any of this matter to you?
The most significant and important difference is how plans and decisions for you are made. It’s no longer looking outward when deciding your next step—not checking with friends and family or listening to social media.
Here are the three steps I take when considering a decision; with me, all decisions are only up for consideration.
If required, I research the facts and then ask myself what to do.
If I am overly reactive, I ask why I feel this way. When I act too quickly, I most likely react unconsciously to stress and trauma patterns.
When in a state of conscious awareness, it begins a conversation with my inner child, my soul, and my higher self. My intuition is yes or no.
