Open Discussion Night
Join us on Thursday, June 29th from 7:30 pm to 9 pm to learn and engage in discussion about Hinduism and Buddhism, two prominent Eastern religions in North America. We will also be discussing how these traditions operate within our society and within our lives. (If you just want to listen, that is okay too!).
For the first time in history, there is a trend in the Western world of people who described themselves not as "religious", but "spiritual". These people do not subscribe to a religion but are not atheists. However, many beliefs and practices, like yoga and meditation of which spiritual people may follow come from very old religious traditions.
We will be discussing topics such as yoga, meditation, peace, energy, and religion more generally within an open and respectful setting.
